Studying at the Faculty of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences to obtain a Ph.D. is the top step in the university studies. A student admitted to these studies will be called a "research student"

The studies will be conducted in 2 stages (the definition of the stages is given in the regulations of the Authority for Research Students - the regulations can be found in the secretariat for students, and can be reviewed during reception hours:

The admission of the research student will be handled by the Faculty committee in Rehovot. The committee advises the Authority for research students, who makes the final decision.
