After admission is approved, the teaching program Study Committee shall appoint each student (except for teaching programs 717, 723) an advisor to assist them in compiling their course-work schedule and guide them in the preparation of their final project report. The following may serve as advisors:

1. A lecturer or researcher authorized to serve as a thesis supervisor.

2. A lecturer or researcher who received an ad-hoc approval to serve as an advisor from the Dean of the faculty.
